The following pictures are from Steve Tenenbaum who spent
"six of the greatest summers of my life at Jacoby's Bungalow Colony
in Woodbourne, N.Y."
Below, amateur night in the “casino” (you can
see the stage in the background – no change in the urethaned pine).
The picture is dated summer 1963 – before Jacoby’s became
an orthodox Jewish colony. This kind of “play acting” would
not have been tolerated in the late 60s!
